Marie & Paul's Garden Party Wedding at Mere Brook House

Mere Brook House Wedding, Wirral

“You have captured our day perfectly and we can't thank you enough! I could sit and look at them over and over again. Thanks again so much, you are a wonderful photographer and a lovely person to have share in our day with us.”

- Marie & Paul

Marie & Paul planned the perfect garden party wedding at Mere Brook House on the Wirral. This was my first time at Mere Brook and I arrived to see a beautiful old manor house, giant pink tassel balloons, lawn games, alpaca’s & SUNSHINE... So I knew it was going to be a good day right from the off!

Marie was busy getting her make-up done upstairs by her super talented mum. Once she was in her dress & wedding ready it was off to the church to an eagerly awaiting Paul. After a beautiful ceremony & a showering of confetti it was back to Mere Brook House to continue the celebrations!

Now I love a bride with a red lip & I love it even more when they spend the whole day grinning like Marie did. And the best part? Marie’s chosen shade of Chanel lipstick was actually called ‘Marie’. It was obviously meant to be!

Marie & Paul, thanks so much for asking me to be a part of your day. I hope you’ve had an amazing honeymoon & that you love your photos! Can’t wait to share the rest with you <3

Lauren & Niall's Sheldrakes Wedding on the Waterfront

wirral wedding photography

Lauren & Niall only booked me a few months ago & I was so pleased when I still had their date free. They filled me in on their plans of having the ceremony at the gorgeous Ness Gardens and then heading over to Sheldrakes Restaurant for their reception on the waterfront - both venues I’d shot at before & couldn’t wait to get back to.

Sheldrakes is one of those lucky few venues that has a seriously cool photo-worthy location right on it’s doorstep. It’s situated right on the estuary and is lined with moored boats, making a unique spot for portraits. Lauren looked uhh-mazing in her dress, which had a removable skirt to transform it into a fish-tale number for the evening do & Niall, of course, scrubbed up pretty well too! They absolutely rocked their portrait shoot, surrounded by boats, sun going down & huge grins across their faces. What more can a photographer as for!

Thanks so much for inviting me to be a part of your day & thank you again for the beautiful flowers. Have an amazing honeymoon guys, hope you’ve got your feet up with a cocktail in hand <3

Zara & Chris's leverhulme hotel wedding on the wirral

A leverhulme hotel wedding on the wirral

Zara & Chris got married in the beautiful Christ Church in Port Sunlight, Wirral. I've been lucky enough to photograph several weddings at this gorgeous church now & have more weddings booked in there in the coming years! It has the longest aisle, perfect for making a grand entrance & the grounds are beautiful.

After the ceremony we headed over to 'the dell' for Zara & Chris's photographs, before making our way to The Leverhulme Hotel to carry on the celebrations.

The Leverhulme Hotel is a great venue, with a beautiful outdoor area & huge room for the wedding breakfast which also has a central dancefloor!

It was an amazing day & I can't wait to get back to both Christ Church & The Leverhulme Hotel for some more beautiful weddings :)

Natasha & James's Brook Hall Hotel Wedding on the wirral

Natasha & James got married on The Wirral at the beautifully newly renovated Brook Hall Hotel, formerly known as Brook Meadow Hotel.

It was a perfect day with the sun shining & Natasha & James had the biggest smiles on their faces throughout!

Leanne & Andrew's Lakeside Wedding on The Wirral

Leanne & Andrew tied the knot in the beautiful St. Andrew's church just at the bottom of their road. It was a rainy start to the day but we all had our fingers crossed that the sun would come out later on. After the ceremony it was still chucking it down so the newly wed's made a fittingly grand exit through a shower of confetti!

Next stop was the Lakeside Marquee at Thornton Manor on the Wirral, by the time everyone arrived the rain was coming down thick and fast so everyone piled into a Pinterest worthy marquee to start off the celebrations. We decided to start shooting the groups inside as it was too wet to drag everyone out in their wedding finery - but after 10 minutes the skies magically cleared so Leanne, Andy & I raced out to shoot their portraits!

The Lakeside has the perfect photo worthy locations all within a few metres of the Marquee! The flowers were in full bloom and the grey skies didn't dampen how beautiful the surroundings were. The weather continued to get better and better throughout the day & the sun even made a evening appearance!

James & Rosie's Winter Wedding at Thornton Manor

I spent the whole of January itching to shoot James & Rosie's wedding at Thornton Manor. I had six long weeks without a wedding which I thought was going to be great, but in reality after a week or two, all I wanted to do was get back to work! And what a perfect wedding it was to kick start 2017!

I arrived at Thornton Manor early so I could scout out the grounds and get some shots of the hall. The sun was beaming and the sky was that perfect blue colour that we don't see as often as we would like, it was the perfect Winters day.

As the girls were sipping champagne in their suite, I headed out ready to catch James & his best man arriving. Rosie had won some serious wife points and surprised James that morning with a bright red, super stylish E-Type Jag. Now I'm not a huge car enthusiast but this car was undeniably cool!

It was one of those weddings that no matter which direction you looked in, everyone was having fun. As the evening came we headed out with sparklers to honour those who couldn't be there, then it was back inside to continue the celebrations, complete with one of the best first dances I've ever witnessed, a surprise Beyonce tribute from one of the bridal team & a grandma who owned the dancefloor!
