When Covid hit, Rhian & Callum were determined to still tie the knot in 2020. They had months of uncertainty leading up to the day but I’m so glad they stayed positive & carried on making plans despite all the hurdles they faced!

Even when the week of the wedding came everything was still up in the air, we were all half expecting Boris to make another announcement & shut down weddings all together. BUT HE DIDN’T!! The pair got to say their I do’s surrounded by their nearest & dearest in the most beautiful church, at the very top of a hill surrounded by fields.

Once the ceremony was over the newly wed’s headed home where Rhian had the best surprise waiting for Callum. A WHOLE BASKET OF PUPPIES. I’m surprised I managed to control myself & carry on shooting but thankfully I did!

Thanks so much for asking me to be a part of your day guys. Really hope you & pup are enjoying married life 2020 style :)

Emma & Andy chose to tie the knot at the beautiful Willington Hall in Tarporley, Cheshire & what a day it was!

I will forever be thankful that the pair managed to say their “I do’s” a week before lockdown kicked in. After all the uncertainty & anticipation their day was all the more sweeter for it, surrounded by their friends & family on such a beautiful Spring day was the most uplifting thing & just what everyone needed to keep spirits high over these next few weeks.

Being able to work on images of Emma & Andy’s beaming faces during a time when I’ve been dealing with so many postponed weddings has made sure I remember exactly why I do this job & keep me motivated for the future!

Emma & Andy, hope you’re enjoying life as Mr & Mrs... I know your first couple of weeks as a married couple probably isn’t quite as you expected but think about how amazing that honeymoon is going to be when you finally do get to go! <3

 

Beth & James's Winter Wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall in North Wales

Beth & James chose to tie the knot at Tyn Dwr Hall in North Wales, which meant that I had the pleasure of photographing yet another beautiful wedding there! I couldn’t wait to see the venue decked out in all it’s winter glory & it didn’t disappoint with it’s open fire, twinkling lights & festive decorations!

After meeting the pair last year, I was super excited to photograph their day as I knew from the off it was going to be a good one! On arriving at the Hall, Beth was cool, calm & collected, busy getting ready with her maids in the bridal dressing area. As the butterflies started building in everyone’s tummies, it was downstairs to a very eagerly awaiting James.

As Beth walked down the aisle with her Dad, ALL the tears came. Both her & James cried happy tears the whole way through their very emotional ceremony. It was absolutely perfect!

Rach & Andy's Elegant Keythorpe Manor Wedding in Leicester

I first met Andy in Freshers week at good ol’ Nottingham Trent University & soon got introduced to the lovely Rach too. I’ve known the pair for nine years now so when Rach asked me to be a part of their big day, I was so honoured & couldn’t wait to see them tie the knot!

After a calm & collected morning with the girls, it was over to Keythorpe Manor to make it official & get the pair wed. Once The Oak Barn was filled with their nearest & dearest, Andy stood waiting at the top of the aisle for his soon-to-be wife. Rach looked uhhh-mazing as she walked down the aisle, arm in arm with her big bro… an emotional Andy trying to (unsuccessfully) compose himself!

After they were announced Husband & Wife it was out into the sunshine to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones. Barry the cockapoo even made a guest appearance to give his best wishes to his mum & dad! It was the perfect day all round!
