Polly & Zac's Rainbow Wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall, North Wales

I first met Polly in high school when we were just eleven, so naturally I was over the moon when she asked me to photograph her & Zac's wedding day! It's always an honour witnessing the happiest day of someone's life, but when you've know them for this long.. it's definitely got an extra special something.

After all the amazing weather we've had, it was sod's law that we were due a huge thunder storm on the day of the wedding. It rained pretty much the whole drive there despite me having my fingers crossed all morning. As Pol was getting ready with the girls in Tyn Dwr Hall, patches of blue skies creeped in & an hour later it was blue skies & sunshine all round.. Such luck!

The weather stayed great all day & we couldn't have asked for more - until we went out for some more photographs after the speeches & wedding breakfast was over. It started absolutely chucking it down, so we grabbed some umbrellas and headed back inside.. only to find a huge rainbow on the other side of the venue. It was the cherry on top of an already perfect day!

Pol & Zac, thanks so much for asking me to be a part of your day. I hope you love your photo's & can't wait to show you the rest!

& last but not least, a huge thanks to my 2nd Shooter, Helen <3

Jo & Damien's quirky Manchester Wedding at Hope Mill Theatre

After Jo & Damo's pre-wedding shoot in Delamere Forest (see here!) I just knew their wedding was going to be a dream & they definitely didn't disappoint!

It was the perfect example of a Manchester City Centre wedding at it's finest! A swanky Air B&B apartment for bridal prep, a luxury Midland Hotel ceremony & topped of nicely with a reception at the quirky, urban venue, Hope Mill Theatre. The entire wedding party even had the Manchester Bee incorporated into their wedding gear - the bridesmaids wore Lily Rose, Manchester Bee necklaces & the groomsmen, Manchester Bee tie pins. See? Perfect!

Jo & Damo, I hope you're having an amazing time in Mexico! Thanks again for asking me to a part of your amazing day <3

Laura & Alan's Cotswolds elopement at The Lost Orangery, Colerne

When Laura & Alan called a few months ago, I was so happy I still had their date free. I wouldn't usually be tempted to travel so far for a shorter day however I couldn't resist after looking up The Lost Orangery online and seeing how incredible it was. And the icing on the cake... there were only 14 guests attending, it sounded absolutely perfect & definitely didn't disappoint.

I was only with Laura & Alan for four hours but it was certainly short but sweet! The weather took a turn for the better after an awful forecast and the sun even came out in time for their ceremony under the thatch-roofed boat house. After their intimate service was over & the pair were declared Husband & Wife, we set off round the grounds to make use of the picturesque setting.

It's hard to remember you're still in Britain when walking round The Lost Orangery. It has all the charm & character of a Italian Palazzo or a French Chateau and really is a photographers paradise. After wandering the grounds for a while shooting Laura & Alan's portraits, we headed back down to the lake to suss out if the little boat was sturdy enough for a bride & groom!

Laura & Alan, you're definitely up there as one of my bravest couples after getting into that little boat, I hope it was worth the nerves! Hope you have an amazing party up north with your friends and family <3
